On October 24, 2023, with the assistance of Ternopil Regional Office for International Cooperation, a coordination meeting of the Protection Cluster partners of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Ukraine was held at Ternopil Regional Military Administration.
The event was attended by Viktor Ustenko, Deputy Chief of Ternopil Regional Military Administration.
During the meeting, the Strategy for response and expansion of cooperation to assist internally displaced persons in Ternopil region was presented and Ternopil Regional Office for International Cooperation was introduced.
The participants also discussed the current humanitarian situation, the achievements of partners and the results of the monitoring conducted by the Protection Cluster in September 2023.
Regional Office for International Cooperation is an initiative of the Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine, which aims to develop the interaction of local and regional authorities with international partners who seek to cooperate at the level of the region and territorial community.
