In the Koropets community in Ternopil region, an inactive polyclinic building will be transformed into social housing for 22 internally displaced persons. The charitable organization Move Ukraine Charitable Foundation, which helps internally displaced persons, has undertaken this good deed. The fund is most actively replenished at the expense of donors from Switzerland and the United States.
The relevant Memorandum of Cooperation with representatives of the charitable organization was signed by Volodymyr Trush, Head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration.
The foundation chose Koropets community not by chance, as it was the birthplace of the father of the foundation's co-founder, Bohdan Hawrylyshyn, a prominent scientist, Ukrainian, Canadian, and Swiss economist, teacher, public figure, and philanthropist who advised several presidents of Ukraine, prime ministers, and chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to Volodymyr Trush, the regional military administration is actively working to integrate internally displaced persons into the region's communities. For this purpose, the IDP Council and the Coordination Center for Civilian Support have been established, which deals with social protection, housing and employment, as well as psychosocial, medical and legal assistance to Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression.
"I am sincerely convinced that today's meeting and the signing of the Memorandum will ensure the productive development of our further partnership," the ODA head emphasized.
