On November 10, 2023, a Polish-Ukrainian business forum was held in Ternopil in the context of prospects for the reconstruction of Ukraine. It was held with the participation of representatives of regional military administration, local self-government and business representatives of the Ternopil region. The event was organized within the framework of the project "Polish service for the reconstruction of Ukraine" by the Center for Strategic Studies of the Warsaw Enterprise Institute (Warsaw Enterprise Institute).
The Polish service for the reconstruction of Ukraine is a project that involves the involvement of Polish business in the processes of reconstruction of Ukraine, as well as providing assistance to Ukrainian business and self-government in the search for Polish partners and investors.
First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine Pavel Kokhanovych and Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk Slawomir Misiak took part in the event.
As part of the forum, Marcin Khruschiel, director of the Office of the Commissioner for Polish-Ukrainian Cooperation and Development, informed the participants about the tools for promoting business cooperation and investment in Ukraine from Polish government institutions. Viktor Ustenko, Deputy Chief of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, presented investment opportunities in the Ternopil region.
More than 100 participants of the event jointly discussed the prospects, challenges and opportunities of Polish-Ukrainian economic cooperation.
The forum is organized in partnership with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), the Federation of Entrepreneurs and Employers of Poland (ZPP), KredoBank, Bank Pocztowy, the Regional Office of International Cooperation in the Ternopil region.
Regional Office for International Cooperation is an initiative of the Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine, which aims to develop the interaction of local and regional authorities with international partners who seek to cooperate at the level of the region and territorial community.
