On 4 March 2024, Acting Head of Ternopil Regional Military Administration Volodymyr Vazhynskyi met with the Consul General of the Czech Republic in Lviv, Mr David Novy.
During the meeting, the parties negotiated the establishment of interregional cooperation between Ternopil region and one of the regions of the Czech Republic and the development of cooperation in the economic sphere, in particular in the areas of logistics and transport, forestry and fisheries, food processing, green energy, and IT technologies.
The parties also discussed the prospects for implementing joint business initiatives and projects under the Interreg Europe Programme, which Ukraine joined in December 2023.
In the afternoon, Consul General of the Czech Republic in Lviv, Mr David Novy, took part in a ceremony of handing over school buses provided by the Government of the Czech Republic for the needs of the region's education sector within the framework of the project ,,School buses for Ternopil Region”.
