On October 27, 2023, as part of the work of Ternopil Regional Office for International Cooperation, regional officials met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Ukraine,
Mrs. Anica Djamić, and the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia in Western Ukraine Mr. Vitaliy Zapukhlyak.

During the meeting, the parties held talks on expanding interregional cooperation between Ternopil region and one of the regions of the Republic of Croatia, developing cooperation in the economic, social, cultural and educational spheres.

The parties also discussed the provision of humanitarian aid for the preparation and passage of the autumn-winter period (generators, heating devices, etc.).

Regional Office for International Cooperation is an initiative of the Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine, which aims to develop the interaction of local and regional authorities with international partners who seek to cooperate at the level of the region and territorial community.
